Tall Bearded Iris - Friendly Advice

A hands-down favourite, Friendly Advice is a showstopper in the softest possible palette. Its beautifully ruffled standards are a luminous blush pink, while the enormous flared falls shift between pearl, silvery lilac, and the palest blue. Fine mauve veining radiates from the centre toward a lavender beard tipped with soft peach-buff, giving each bloom the delicate, hand-drawn detail of a botanical illustration.

Friendly Advice produces imposing, well-branched stalks carrying as many as eight or nine buds, creating an extraordinary display when several blooms open together. It is also recognized as a vigorous grower - proof that something this refined can still be wonderfully robust in the garden.

This hardy perennial returns year after year, forming a larger and more impressive clump as it becomes established.
