Tall Bearded Iris - Guatemala

Guatemala is difficult to reduce to a single colour. Its pale blue-white standards rise above softly ruffled ecru falls, brushed with mauve and warm brown at the shoulders. A rich russet beard gives the whole flower depth and just enough contrast. The effect is soft, smoky, and wonderfully unusual.

Beyond its beauty, Guatemala has proven itself to be one of the most dependable irises in our field. It produces tall, strong flower stalks, blooms reliably, and multiplies quickly - an excellent choice if you’re hoping to establish a generous clump without waiting forever.

This hardy perennial returns year after year, forming a larger and more impressive clump as it becomes established.
